OFFERING YOU THE BEST SOLUTION FOR YOUR INSPECTION NEEDS.
As a homeowner, the health and safety of your family should be your top priority.
If you own a multi-family housing property, the health and safety of your tenants...
Everyone has the right to breathe confidently in the building they work in, rent, or manage.
Because We Want to Be Your Best Solution
Your home is an investment and so is your health. Don’t cut corners when it comes to your family’s safety.
Your family’s health is our utmost priority, and our standards are very high. Every system we design and install is developed on-site, undergoes rigorous diagnostic testing, and is installed by our licensed professionals.
We design your radon mitigation system to reduce your home’s radon levels as low as possible, not to an arbitrary government guideline. We strive to get your radon levels below 1 pCi/L, not merely the 4 pCi/L the EPA recommends because we believe there is no safe level of radon.
Because you can’t actually see or smell radon gas, many people believe it’s harmless and that mitigation is an unnecessary expense. We have taken it upon ourselves to raise awareness of this deadly, radioactive gas and everything Ohioans can do to protect their homes and their families. Keep your home safe and your family breathing confidently. Test your home for radon today to learn if mitigation is necessary to protect your loved ones.
These Are the Radon Mitigation Steps to Take Before Signing
Why You Shouldn’t Ask the Seller to Install Your Radon Mitigation System
If the home has been tested and radon levels are high, you (the buyer) have two options:
Ohio Department of Health strongly recommends that ALL homebuyers have an indoor radon test performed prior to purchase or taking occupancy and recommends having the radon levels mitigated if elevated radon concentrations are found.
Elevated radon concentrations can easily be reduced by a qualified, certified, or licensed radon mitigator. Every residential homebuyer should be notified that the property may present exposure to dangerous levels of indoor radon gas that may place the occupants at risk of developing radon-induced lung cancer.
Radon—a Class A human carcinogen—is the leading cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers and the second leading cause overall. The seller of any interest in residential property is REQUIRED to provide the buyer with any information on radon test results of the dwelling.
